Fernando De Los Reyes
Fernando De Los Reyes is our Founder, President and CEO. With over 25 years of experience leading marketing, advertising, Internet and creative strategic branding programs for Disney, Nike, Time Warner, Capitol Records, Televisa, Fathead and RJR Nabisco, Fernando brings a lot of fun and an exceptional breadth of executive leadership, case study and hands-on, brand-building, experience to every assignment we undertake.

Fernando began his career with Hispanic advertising shop, La Agencia de Orci and later led Young & Rubicam's expansion of The Bravo Group on the west coast.

  • Prior to launching 2020 Advertising LLC, Fernando was the Chief Marketing Officer for Fathead/Fathead.com, an innovative direct response-driven sports and entertainment consumer goods Internet-based company.
  • Prior to Fathead, Fernando was the Global Vice President of Television Franchise Management and Merchandising for The Walt Disney Company, where he is credited with getting Hannah Montana green lit and into Disney Consumer Product's global licensing pipeline. At Disney Consumer Products, he also led the TV merchandising and licensing for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and That's So Raven.
  • Prior to Disney, Fernando was VP of On-Air and Off-Channel marketing, licensing and PR for Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon and Boomerang Networks, Latin America.
  • Prior to Time-Warner/Turner, Fernando was the Chief Marketing Officer for From2.com, an international e-commerce logistics start-up, focused on global logistics management online and in-country delivery solutions.
  • In the mid and late 90's, Fernando was a Director of Marketing for Nike, responsible for Nike's $200 million sponsorship of the Brazilian National Team and their priority athletes, including Ronaldo, globally. At Nike, he was also a Member of Nike's 1998 World Cup marketing team, in Paris, France; a founding member of Nike.com's e-commerce advisory committee; launched two of Nike's first global brand and team websites; and authored Nike's first global team marketing plans for footwear, apparel and equipment.
  • Prior to Nike, Fernando was Director of Marketing at Capitol Records, responsible for marketing Hispanic artists in the US and Puerto Rico, including Selena, Thalia and Los Tucanes de Tijuana. He was also responsible for marketing the Warner Bros. theatrical and soundtrack release for "Selena," starring Jennifer Lopez. 
  • Prior to Capitol Records, Fernando was Director of Marketing for the US, Central and South America for Editorial Televisa, the largest publisher of Spanish-language publications and content development, in the US and Mexico.
  • Fernando is Chicano/Mexican-American and was born in Lynwood, California. He was raised on a cattle ranch in the rural Northern California towns of Wilton and Elk Grove.
  • He received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California at Davis and attended law school at the University of California's Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco.

Darlene Cordero
Darlene Cordero is an internationally recognized and respected creative director, designer and disciplined creative strategist with over 16 years of corporate, consumer and multimedia branding and consumer marketing experience.

Over the course of her stellar career, Darlene has led creative teams, developed creative strategy and produced globally recognized integrated TV, Radio, Music and Internet advertising, marketing and sales campaigns for some of the most respected and trend-setting media brands and companies in the world, including Viacom, Time Warner and GE/NBC. Her most recognized roles and projects include:

  • Launching and directing all creative for Cartoon Network’s PowerPuff Girls consumer marketing, retail merchandising, theatrical release and Internet campaigns throughout Latin America for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and AOL Time Warner/Turner Broadcasting networks;
  • Directing creative development for Turner Broadcasting’s marketing and sales divisions for the launch of Boomerang Networks Pan Regionally;
  • Prior to Time-Warner/Turner Broadcasting, Darlene was Creative Supervisor for Viacom’s Nickelodeon Latin America, where she also contributed to the launch of mundonick.com and award-winning outdoor media campaign "Se Nicka Nessa."
  • Prior to Nickelodeon, Darlene was the Art Director for Tommy Boy Records where she directed and developed the art, photography and design for some of the record label’s most recognized Hip Hop and Gospel album releases.
  • Darlene began her career as a creative designer for MTV Networks, NY, where she participated in several award-winning campaigns including:
      • The teaser campaign and unveiling of MTV Studios-Times Square; Creative Design for MTV Music Video Awards, Movie Awards and Spring Break on-air and off-channel campaigns;
      • Created and designed print and on-air campaigns for “Yo! MTV Raps” and “MTV: Party To Go”.
  • Darlene is also available for independent creative consulting, direction and design and most recently worked with NBC’s SciFi channel and FAB/Starpoint, a fashion accessory company in New York.
  • Her Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and the rest of the CS Suite software skills are exceptional.
  • Darlene is skilled in all forms of design resources including HTML, Flash and motion direction and design.
  • Darlene loves to solve design problems and thrives in the creative process with intellectual solutions, diverse styles, and smart collaborations.
  • Darlene is Puerto Rican - American, born and raised in NY. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in Advertising and Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology New York, NY, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
  • Darlene Cordero is also a Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
